Our goal is to see as much of the northern lights as possible. What better way to do this than to stay the whole night at the Aurora Sky Station.
Day OneWe meet at 18.00 at the mountain station for check-in and information. After that we take the chair-lift up to the Aurora Sky Station. Upon arrival an exclusive dinner is served. We all watch together for the first hours before we prepare for the night and get our camp beds ready. The guide will continue to search the sky and wake up the others as soon as the Aurora Borealis occurs.
Day TwoAfter an early cup of coffee or tea we take the chair-lift down again. At the mountain station the sauna is already warm and ready. Breakfast is served in the restaurant, ending no later than 10.00.

If we have to close the STF Aurora Sky Station due to prevailing weather conditions then our Aurora Lounge will be open exclusively for our Aurora Sky Station guests. Aurora Lounge is located at STF Abisko Mountain Station. There is an exhibition about the Northern Lights, in the evening we will show slide shows and movies about Abisko and the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights). You will be able to participate in a 50 minute long "Aurora Guided Tour in Abisko National Park" where we talk about the origin and history of the Northern Lights. The tours start at 21.30 and 22.30.
